Basic Infoplex Support Service time block based on typical man/hours (during Mon-Fri, 9-5) for:
  • Conducting a brief Analysis of the existing network system
  • Providing off-site telephone Guidance, Support & Assistance during implementation, i.e. software installation, configuration, setup and testing thin client server PC including reconfiguring application software (TAS etc) for access via the Internet or Wide Area Network ('WAN')
  • Where appropriate, conducting configuration and setup operations by remote access/control
Although our estimates are sufficient in more than 95% of cases, occasionally actual time used can turn out higher in individual cases which are more complex or problematical than usual - see Note 2 for examples.

Delivery charges.
VAT at current rates, but non-EC customers and VAT registered EC customers may be Zero-rated.
Additional Infoplex Support Service time spent handling cases that are more complex or problematical than normal, e.g.
  • Data upgrade/conversion and data fixing/recovery
  • Presence of other Pervasive/Btrieve applications or of Windows ME or XP Home PCs on the network
  • Reconfiguring or conducting basic network setup, including: protocol(s), 'Thin Client' access (such as Terminal Services/Citrix etc), Routers, Bridges, VPNs etc
Such additional work can be undertaken. It is charged, based on timesheets for the actual time spent, at the same basic rate (£90/hour during Mon-Fri, 9-5).
Evening or weekend working. This is charged at higher rates equivalent to 50% and 100% respectively more than the basic rate
The time of an on-site person, whether in-house or from a local IT contractor.
Telecom and ISP connection or call charges
