The HSBC Invoice Finance electronic invoicing module has been designed specifically for HSBC Invoice Finance clients and provides a range of benefits including :
Next Day Funding, Labour, Paper and Postal Savings
The creation of an automatic output facility in TAS means copies of invoice/credit note documents for HSBC are stored on an output file which is then sent electronically to HSBC via their Ledgerline software. In simple terms it eliminates the need to print and post paper copies to HSBC providing much faster invoice finance for clients.
Integration is carred out using the quick self-install/setup routines, loaded via Infoplex's System Integration Manager ("SIM") and provide secure password access for selected users.
Starting the module from System Integration Manager is a simple matter of double-clicking the "target" TAS company (if multi-company), then double-clicking the "target" module - in this case HSBC EDI Export for TAS.
The HSBC EDI Export for TAS screen shows Company Name and Data Path and allows access to all drop down menu options
First the Central Information File is created (once) which holds global system defaults. Company information and HSBC details must be entered in the HSBC EDI Export for TAS - Central Information screen.
Maintain Customers is used to initially set up HSBC factored customers codes and terms - or to edit existing ones.
Extract Invoices/Credits is used to create the HSBC Invoice/Credit Notes output file - select by invoice or date range to process.
If required the new extract file can then be edited prior to the creation of the final HSBC output file.
After invoices/Credits have been extracted this function prints the posting batch log and/or invoice history audit file for checking.
HSBC EDI Invoice Finance & System Integration Manager run on Pervasive Software Inc's acclaimed Pervasive.SQL transactional and relational "mission critical" database system, including Btrieve, which is used by more than 75 % of accounting systems world-wide.
